We would love to see more kids enjoying their veggies so we have curated our meals with kids in mind. As a result we keep elements such as spice to a minimum and can advise on serving simply to amp up the spice for adults should you wish. Our meals are most definitely a family friendly option.
Currently we have 2 packaging options for our meals. Our BIOPAK packaging is a eco-friendly and sustainable option for packaging. Did you know Biopak also picks up our organic waste (fruits and veggies only) and uses it to make the packaging? Cool right! We always aim to give back. The meals arriving in Biopak can be reheated in the oven and microwave but please be aware this can make the food sweat. We prefer to transfer to an oven tray, plate or bowl and heat accordingly. Some of our meals such as the pies and lasagne, prefer to be heated in the oven in order to maintain the quality and integrity of the dish so we have packaged them in a foil container with a white lid for you to do so. Both these packaging items are recyclable however they need to be rinsed prior to hitting the recycling bin. For more info on items and packaging you can be recycling in your home please have a read of this article we found for you. We are passionate about reducing waste both in our kitchen and in yours and instigating good practice for our environment so please consider the above when disposing of your packaging.
The Biopak containers are both oven and microwave proof. Foil containers are oven proof but not microwave proof. We advise should you wish to place any of the meals that arrive in foils in the microwave that you simply portion the meal onto a plate and do so.
Our packaging is freezer proof. We recommend freezing meals up to 2 weeks.
